1. Stay calm, secure the accident site, notify the police and, if necessary, call an ambulance to help the injured.
Make a careful note of the personal details of the person who caused the accident and the contact information of their insurer in order to report the damage yourself if necessary and initiate the compensation procedure.
3. To take photographs of all damaged vehicles and any injuries sustained by the victims to serve as evidence during the post-accident investigation.
4. Contacting a motor vehicle expert who will carry out a detailed inspection of the vehicle and determine the value of the damage in order to receive compensation. All formalities should be handled in accordance with the law so that the claim can be settled quickly and efficiently.
5. To keep all documents relating to the accident, such as a police report, correspondence with the insurer or invoices for vehicle repairs, which are required for verifying the claims.
We recommend commissioning an independent motor vehicle expert to prepare an objective report (Liability expert report) created and all legally required compensation taken into account.
